Biography

My desire to witness current events firsthand, rather than merely follow these events as stories in news wires, drove me to pursue a career in photojournalism. In 2002, after finishing my degree in photography at Paul Brousse School of Photography in Montpellier, in the South of France, I published my first pictures in Dauphiné Libéré, a local newspaper in Grenoble. At that time, my work was focused on political life, news and sports. Following my time with Dauphiné Libéré, I worked with the daily L’Union de Reims for several months and later for Nice-Matin, Wostok Press agency, IP3 Press, Reuters and AFP. I presently work as a freelance photographer with different company and as a stringer for EPA (European Pressphoto Agency).

2021 – IPA International Photography Awards 2021 – ‘Honorable Mention’ with ‘Antonio Banderas’ picture in the Editorial / Press Personality category.

2020 – IPA International Photography Awards 2020 – ‘Honorable Mention’ with ‘D-Day’ picture in the Editorial / Press category.

2015 – Siena International Photo Awards – ‘Honorable Mention’ with ‘Summer day’ picture in the travel category.
